Dub Parker's Looper, FB-125

We were contacted in October of 2009 by a person looking for information regarding a Quincy Looper he had acquired, FB-125. This turned out to be a very special Quincy Looper, as it originally belonged, according to the original Quincy Welding production logs, to Dub Parker. Although Dub raced Konig engines throughout most of his career, he did have a B Looper in the 1960's. In the late 1970's, at the World Championships at Alexandria, LA, Dub Parker approached O. F. Christner's son, Paul, regarding Dub racing a new Quincy Z B 350cc engine. Unfortunately, Dub's life was cut short by a tragic accident and he never had the opportunity to race the Quincy Z engine. What a shame that Dub and the Quincy Z engine never raced together, for that combination could have resulted in some exciting racing history.
